Apple’s latest MacBook Air, which is powered by the company’s M3 processor, is snappy enough for tasks like photo editing and compact and light enough to make it convenient to tote along with you. Its 13.6-inch display is bright, and its high resolution is great for reading text, editing pictures, and watching videos. Although the Air’s M3 chip and accompanying 8GB of RAM won’t be enough to tackle heavy tasks like app development or video editing, it handles everything else with ease, and its battery can easily last ten hours, making it a great machine for working on the go.
Because this MacBook has an M-series chip, it’ll likely get updates for years to come — my M1 MacBook Air still hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down after three years of heavy use. That makes this model well worth its regular price, but right now it’s 23 percent off, bringing the price down to $850 (just $50 more than the 2022 13-inch MacBook, which runs on the previous-gen M2 chip and is also on sale right now). You won’t find a better computer for that price (an upgraded model with 512GB of storage is also on sale today for $250 off).
